About Dalton
As a recent graduate from the Melbourne School of Design, with a Master's degree in Architecture, I am excited to bring my passion for innovative design solutions to my tutoring practice. My academic journey has equipped me with critical thinking, problem-solving, and proficiency in both analog and computer-based design processes.
Coming from a non-stereotypical background with a prior degree in Fine Art from the Victorian College of the Arts, I offer a unique perspective on thinking and problem-solving in architecture. My diverse qualifications have significantly shaped my working style, allowing me to approach design challenges with creativity and versatility.
During roles at Studio Goss, Architectus and Q-Studio, I gained valuable experience contributing to commercial and residential Projects. This experience has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the entire design process, from concept development to detailed technical construction drawings for project delivery.
I am committed to ethical, sustainable, and human-centered design practices. My approach to tutoring is rooted in fostering confidence and nurturing individual creativity while instilling a strong foundation in architectural principles and software.
