As an actress currently working in the industry, I have accumulated a span of different skills and knowledge which enables me to specifically tailor each session to every person I work with.
Acting coaching: audition prep; how to self-tape; how to audition for drama school, commercials, TV and film and theatre; memorisation techniques; RP accent work; how to approach acting agents; how to get auditions; how to set up an acting profile...
Coaching for professionals in a corporate environment: confidence coaching; presenting skills; interview practice; role-play practice; voice and movement work.
I love coaching as I feel confident that I can get amazing performances out of the people I work with when we focus on the right areas they need to work on. Each client is unique and will require an individual approach depending on their specific needs. This can include physical work, voice work, textual analysis and more. If you have something specific you want to work on, get in touch!

- Michelle's response :
Perfect! I had a few lessons with Michelle to learn how to be more assertive in a professional context. Her tips are always helpful and make me approach situtations in a new way. Definitely recommend.
- Michelle's response :
Perfect! Michelle was great with my little boy. We were focusing on comedy and improvisation (having seen and enjoyed her showreel) and that’s not easy with just two people, especially when one of them is a ten year old. Rather than simply play games, she took time to get to know him and then also gave the methodology and reason for the games, which is really important for my boy. He found it the right level of challenging and thoroughly enjoyed it. Michelle really knows her stuff and can translate that easily into personalised lessons. Highly recommended

We highly recommend Michelle as an English tutor. Our son describes her as friendly, kind, making English more interesting to study.
From our perspective we have seen our son’s confidence in his own abilities grow and the support in the build up to GCSEs was invaluable in raising his final grades after he struggled in his mocks.
Our only regret was not gaining Michelle’s support earlier.Michelle is a wonderful teacher. I think she is the right tutor who can help me to soften my accents, I look forward to achieve my goal under her guidance.
Michelle is a wonderful tutor, she has a very nice personality and easily hits it off with kids. She tutored my daughter for her English GCSEs which resulted in an A grade at the actual exam with an initial D predicted. I would certainly recommend Michelle as an English and English literature tutor, especially to those kids who need to be brought up 2 or 3 grades.
Michelle has been a close friend for 13 years, and I know her to be a very reliable, trustworthy and responsible person. She has been teaching for several years now and takes a lot of care over tailoring her service to each student. She is a highly creative and communicative person having worked in theatre for her adult life, and cultivates a strong passion for arts and culture. I would recommend her as a tutor to anyone wanting to be tutored with rigour, and gently pushed outside of their comfort zone through creative activities.
Michelle is very knowledgeable on the GCSE texts, the syllabus and exam technique. This, combined with her clear love of her subject, makes her a great tutor. Our daughter loved her lessons with Michelle and she went on to get good grades in her Literature and Language GCSEs.
I would 100% recommend Michelle as a tutor, having lived with her and hearing about how she talks about tutoring - and the passion she has for supporting the young people she works with - I would definitely send anyone needing this kind of support to her. She is professional and kind, and manages to make learning fun!
Michelle is amazing!
My child really struggled with English and completely resented going to a tutor ... however ... Michelle won him over in a matter of weeks and got him to realise that he could do it. She made the fear of GCSE English fade away and he started to believe in himself. She encouraged him throughout the whole GCSE process giving tips/techniques, guiding and instilling self-confidence. Due to her encouragement and guidance, he passed English! Michelle is eternally cheerful and extremely professional and direct in her approach. I would recommend her to anyone! You'd be lucky to have her teach your child. From the very first time that Michelle came to tutor my 16 year old daughter (T) for her English GCSE, I felt in completely safe hands and T felt more confident and happy about the looming monster of GCSEs. T saw Michelle about 10 times. They worked on essay structure, exam technique, improving grammar and comprehension, past papers and overall exam confidence ( with a bit of literary debate thrown in for good measure!). Even though T was often quite unwell at the time, she positively looked forward to seeing Michelle who gave her both the confidence and inspiration to overcome past difficulties and to do much better than feared or expected. Both in terms of personality and knowledge, Michelle is an outstandingly good tutor and I would recommend her unreservedly.
Michelle gave Aubrey very good support and was able to asses and understand what he required in both subjects. Her work with him undoutably both improved the areas he was interested in and the areas where he needed academic support. Michielle organised the work needed and emiled and called us regularly to keep us informed of Aubreys progress. The tuition both improved the grades he got for his GCSEs and has increased his interest in the supjects, particularly English Literature. We would both recomend Michelle as a tutor to others and would be very pleased, if needed, to ask her to provide further tuition in the future.
Michelle is an excellent English & English litrature teacher. She reall helped my daughter learn and practice the required scope of work in order to understand and enjoy further required learning.
Michelle is a very dedicated tutor and is extremely professional. She is well experienced in preparing appropriately, student for 13+ Common Entrance Exams as well. Our 12 year old daughter needed specialised tuition to get her from good to great. She had switched from the UK to the U.S. system and back, so we needed someone that was extremely knowledgeable and intellectual but had the EQ to inspire and deliver the required results. Michelle was able to get our daughter excited about Shakespeare as much as she is about what is new on Instagram or who sent what on Snapchat. Michelle has the unique quality of understanding your child, breaking through the confidence block and translating it into results.
Michelle is a fantastic tutor. We were looking for someone to help our daughter to improve her literacy skills, particularly in comprehension and creative writing in preparation for a 8+ entrance exam.
We were impressed with Michelle from the first communication - she was prompt to reply and very clear on how each session would work.
Michelle clicked with our daughter immediately and Emily really enjoyed the lessons and this is down to Michelle's preparation and the way she interacts with children. She is extremely passionate about her subject and this was a huge motivation for Emily. We would not hesitate to recommend Michelle as a tutor.Michelle tutored my 11 year old son for his 11+ exams. I found Michelle to be very enthusiastic and dedicated; she had loads of energy and succeeded in a short space of time to help my son to enjoy the subject. I saw an improvement to my son's attitude towards English pretty much straight away.
Michelle tutored my daugther in London in person and through Skype. She’s been giving her very diversified tutoring. My daughter loved Michelle’s lessons and spending time with her. I believe my daughter benefited very much from her time with Michelle. She’s very inventive and I can recommend Michelle as a tutor in English both in academic and non-academic terms.
Michelle is an excellent tutor. Her communication skills and teaching style are always adapted to the individual student. She researches her topics very thoroughly and approaches teaching in a very imaginative and effective manner. She is extremely personable and very reliable and I have no hesitation in recommending her for a tutoring post with any age group.
Michelle tutored my son for around six months in 2012-2013. It was a pleasure to have her as a tutor and I will recommend her without hesitation.
Michelle is focused, creative, organized and always on time.
While tutoring my son she quickly gained a very good understanding of his common entrance requirements and was able to use the curriculum and past papers to help our son prepare revision notes and tackle key questions especially in English, History and RS. Our son made excellent progress in these subjects.
Above all, steady progress helped our son gain confidence in his abilities. He sat the common entrance with confidence and landed an academic scholarship to the school of his choice. Michelle played a big part into raising his confidence. She just relates to children in a unique way , that's an exceptional gift!I appointed Michelle in 2014 to support my son in English when he was preparing for 11+ entrance examination. She made a very strong connection with my son very quickly and came up with interesting techniques to teach him. His English results in school made significant progress and it was clearly evident in his school report. She is a very likeable person and she has this unique talent of making a bond with kids. I have no hesitation in recommending Michelle for teaching other kids.
