About Peta
My name is Peta Henshelwood. I am the founder of a small business called, TIME2 Active8. With the aim of empowering social, emotional, and academic wellbeing of Primary School Students within my local community. I possess a Bachelor of Education and gained a Graduate Certificate in Counselling for Education Professionals in 2022. I'm currently studying Art Therapy, so my own learning journey continues. I've been a passionate educator for the last 28 years. I have dedicated myself to helping all students, especially ESL learners, reach their academic potential and develop a positive self-image. I have taught all grade levels from K-6 in Primary Schools within Australia and Primary Years Program (PYP) at International Baccalaureate (IB) as well as English / Social Studies in Middle School within International Schools abroad in Norway, the Philippines, Japan and China. I support children’s social and emotional development to ensure they know, feel and believe that they are in a positive and supportive learning environment.
