Whether you're picking up the flute for the first time or dusting it off after many years, my approach focuses on building both technical proficiency and musical expression. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I strive to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual’s learning pace, whether you’re a visual learner, an auditory learner, or someone who needs a more hands-on approach. Throughout our lessons, I emphasize positive reinforcement, ensuring that progress is celebrated, no matter how small. We will focus on developing your tone, breath control, and articulation, but we will also explore your musical interests—whether that’s learning a favorite song, playing in a community group, or simply using the flute as a relaxing, creative outlet. I incorporate various modern teaching tools such as audio and video feedback, interactive learning apps, and slow-down software, which allow you to practice at your own speed and track your progress. I am committed to fostering a space where you can feel encouraged, inspired, and, above all, excited to continue your flute journey.
