About Summer
When I was younger I was frequently at my dad's business where the majority of employees and customers spoke Spanish. I wanted to be a part of the conversation so I listened and asked questions incessantly. I was fluent by the age of 13. This experience showed me that the best way to learn any language is to be surrounded by it, not by memorizing countless verb conjugations and vocabulary with no context.
In college I further pursued linguistics and currently hold a bachelor's in Spanish language. I also speak fluent French and proficient Italian. I firmly believe anyone is capable of learning a new language if it is presented to them in a natural and logical way!

To promote natural language learning, I like to use stories, pictures, skits, games and strategies of that nature. We would start with phrases/vocab you use everyday so it's practical.
A typical lesson plan may include introducing some target vocab then reading a story together or going through a mock conversation and incorporating this new vocab (depending on age level).
I have experience tutoring adults as well as children.
My lessons are best for people who want to learn proficient, conversational Spanish.
