About Tomoka

※I’m sorry to trouble you, but I will be returning to Japan in April, so in-person lessons will no longer be possible. However, I plan to return to Melbourne in September.

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
Since I loved reading books from a young age, I developed a strong interest in language. At university, I majored in Japanese linguistics and obtained a teaching license for Japanese.

After graduation, I worked at a book editing company and an IT firm.
Because I wanted to connect more with people from other countries, I came to Australia to study English.

I believe language is a wonderful tool that helps people organize their thoughts and communicate them effectively.
It would make me happy if you could enjoy learning Japanese through my lessons!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style.
I customize the lessons based on how you want to learn Japanese.

Additionally, since I came to Australia to study English, I understand how it feels to be a language learner.
