About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn guitar is to play. First, we will set some achievable goals and deadlines depending on your skill level.
I will coordinate the most effective way for you to improve on technical skills as well as music theory knowledge.
Together, we can work on technique exercises through songs so you can start playing and build references.
There are so many creative approaches to learn music. I love passing on the knowledge and the tips and tricks I've learned over the years.

About Alec

Hi!

My name is Alec and I've played guitar for over 15 years. I'm Jazz trained S. Korean guitarist experienced in live performing and studio session works.

From practical standpoint, guitar learning does not have to be overly complicated. In fact, I think we're investing too much wasted time.

As your personal trainer, I will not only teach you the most crucial concepts in simple words but also coach you so that you can :

• properly set goals with deadlines
• break down challenges for practice efficiencies
• maintain steady flow of dedication.

It will still be challenging in times but you'll be clear of why you're practicing and learn to enjoy the growth process and smile through the sweats you share with a guitar.
