About Ruby
I am a 3rd year arts/law student studying at the University of Sydney. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience working with children from primary school and high school. I have previously worked as a "Senior English Tutor" at a tutoring college where I planned individualised lessons, oversaw the work of other English tutors and worked closely with students of all ages. I also attended a selective school and was an all round achiever, receiving a Band 6 in every unit, including Advanced English and English Extension 1.

I love English and my lessons are geared towards students in both primary school and up to HSC level to help them reach their full potential, build their confidence and achieve improved academic results. My teaching method is to break down seemingly difficult and complicated concepts in English, such as essay writing and textual analysis, into their fundamental components, to provide students with a clearer and more holistic understanding of what it takes to achieve excellent results in English.
