About Clara

I’m a violin tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. My training is rooted in classical techniques, which I use to help students build a strong foundation. I focus on bowing technique, vibrato, phrasing, and musical interpretation to bring pieces to life. I encourage students to explore modern expression on the violin, blending tradition with creativity. My lessons cover Classical, Contemporary, and Cinematic styles, allowing for a rich and varied musical journey. I have extensive experience preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams, ensuring they meet performance standards with confidence. Orchestral coaching is another area I specialize in, helping students develop ensemble skills and stage presence. I tailor each lesson to suit individual goals, whether for exams, performance, or personal growth. My teaching style is patient and encouraging, fostering both skill and passion. About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on building strong technique and emotional expression through the violin. I guide students step-by-step to develop solid bowing, fingering, and posture skills. Ear training is an important part of lessons, helping students hear pitch and tone clearly. This strengthens their musical intuition and performance confidence.

I support students who love performing in different styles, whether on stage or in worship settings. I help them connect deeply with the music to express emotions naturally. We work on breathing, phrasing, and dynamics to bring pieces to life.

I believe steady practice and positive encouragement build lasting skills. I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and goals, making learning enjoyable and rewarding. Together, we focus on improving technique while nurturing a love for music.

My goal is to help students feel confident and expressive, whether playing solos or with an ensemble. Let’s grow your skills and passion on the violin, one note at a time.
