About Corin

With over 10 years of teaching experience and a BA in English with a Concentration in Editing and Publishing, I specialize in English communication for IT professionals and tech teams. My lessons are tailored to help software developers, data scientists, and project managers express complex ideas with clarity. I support learners in preparing for job interviews, participating in Agile meetings, and writing effective technical documentation. Clear and confident communication is key in global tech environments, and I help students develop those skills step by step. From refining presentations to improving cross-cultural email etiquette, every session is practical and focused. I also guide learners in building confidence when leading standups, writing reports, or joining client calls. Many of my students come from international backgrounds, and I adapt lessons to support both technical accuracy and fluency. I use real-world IT case studies and tech-focused role-plays to make learning relatable. About the lesson

My teaching approach in English focuses on helping learners become strong, confident speakers. I use practical strategies to build clear, professional communication. I’m especially good at supporting Immigrant/Newcomer and Heritage Learner students. My lessons help them gain the tools to speak up in meetings, present ideas with confidence, and handle formal discussions. I focus on voice control, pacing, and audience engagement techniques.
