About Aven

I have over six years of experience teaching violin, backed by a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a focus on violin. I’m passionate about exploring crossover styles like Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. Using looping pedals and effects, I help students bring their violin playing to life in exciting, modern ways. Improvisation is at the heart of my lessons. I encourage students to write their own solos and adapt popular songs to make them truly their own. Together, we experiment with tone and texture to find a unique sound. I believe the violin is not just for classical music — it’s a versatile instrument ready for creative expression. My teaching is hands-on and innovative, blending traditional skills with cutting-edge technology. Whether you want to perform live with loops or compose your own pieces, I’m here to guide you.
