  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

I remember my first computer experience vividly. It was a moment of awe and excitement that ignited my passion for technology and computer skills.

It was an excel session in my primary school. I was impressed by the amazing user interface and the fast calculation result the computer can bring. After this class, I started exploring the various applications and discovering the limitless possibilities. I am captivated by the graphic world that unfolded before me. From then, I am willing to dedicate countless hours, experimenting with graphic design and delving into various aspects of computer technology. Using computer is a transformative experience that opened my eyes to the incredible potential of technology as a powerful tools for creativity, problem-solving, and communication.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

As an architect, interior designer and graphic designer, I believe that one of the turning points in the field of computer technology will be the rise of artificial intelligence and its integration into various domains. Artificial Intelligence(AI) has made significant change in the communication between human and machine language, making the image result closer to the needs of customers. Although designers cannot rely on AI painting program, such as mid journey for creation, but we can use AI language for design iterations. As AI continues to evolve, we can expect advancements in autonomous systems, personalized experiences, and predictive analytics. The integration of AI into our daily lives will bring about new challenges and opportunities. It will require us to navigate ethical considerations, privacy concerns, and the impact of automation on the workforce.

Embracing and understanding AI will be crucial for individuals of all age levels. As a computer tutor, I aim to help my students not only develop practical computer skills but also cultivate a solid foundation in AI literacy. By preparing them for the upcoming AI-driven world, we can empower them to be adaptable and innovative in their personal and professional lives.
  • Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

As a computer tutor, my expertise lies in teaching a wide range of computer skills, with a particular focus on design programs like Photoshop, Rhino modeling, and rendering. I have honed my expertise through a combination of formal education, practical experience, and ongoing professional development. My interest in computer skills and design programs stems from a deep passion for creativity and problem-solving. I find great satisfaction in exploring the possibilities that technology offers in terms of visual expression and artistic output. I enjoy helping individuals unlock their creative potential and harness the power of these tools to bring their ideas to life.

In today's computer-driven world, computer skills have become increasingly important across various industries. Whether it's graphic design, architecture, marketing, or even everyday tasks like photo editing, having a solid foundation in computer skills can significantly enhance one's productivity, efficiency of communication and collaboration. By imparting my expertise and teaching computer skills, I aim to equip my students with the tools they need to succeed in their personal and professional endeavors. I believe that computer literacy is an essential skill set that can enhance opportunities, open doors to new possibilities, and empower individuals to express themselves creatively in the digital realm.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

I do find visionaries like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg inspiring, as they have made significant contributions to the computer and technology industry. Their innovative ideas, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to bring transformative products to the market have left a lasting impact on society.

Steve Jobs, in particular, was known for his visionary thinking and his ability to simplify complex ideas and products. His emphasis on minimalism, elegant design, and user experience revolutionized the way we interact with technology. His relentless pursuit of excellence and his ability to inspire and motivate teams to create groundbreaking products continue to be a source of inspiration for many. Many core members from his A+ team have undoubtedly made significant contributions, like Jony Ive, Danny Coster and Chris Stringer. Without them, iPad, iMac and HomePod won't exist.

I am inspired by their ability to think outside the box, push boundaries, and make a positive impact on the world through technology. I believe that inspiration can be found in various sources, and it is important to learn from a diverse range of individuals who have shaped the computer and technology industry in different ways. By drawing inspiration from multiple sources, we can develop a well-rounded perspective and approach that allows us to make our own unique contributions to the field.
  • What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

    I would say:

I couldn't figure it out when I first started doing this, it's really complicated, isn't it? I want to that with the right approach and support. We can start with the basics, like toolbars. And then break toolbar down into different small tasks, so that you can practice and do your small projects. Whenever you have questions, you can always research online, from YouTube tutorials videos or Software forums. Also feel free to ask me if you get stuck. I will be there for guidance and support. Just remember learning IT is a continuous process. It's normal to encounter challenges and make mistakes along the way. We need to embrace a growth mindset, which means viewing difficulties as opportunities for growth and seeing setbacks as stepping stones to success. By engaging in hands-on practice, you will solidify your understanding and build confidence.
  • What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

Engaging in handcrafted activities like silver making, wood carving, and fabric brooch-making is my hobby. I sell my works online and in art markets sometimes. Crafting is my safety island and a peaceful meditation process for me to think about my daily work based on computers and to see the world from two different perspectives (manual and electronic).

Crafting allows me to work with my hands, create tangible objects, and connect with the materials in a unique way.The process of crafting can be therapeutic, helping to clear your mind and foster a sense of mindfulness. When I jump back from crafting to my computer-based work, I feel refreshed and innovative again.
