About Nicole
I am a year 10 student at Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology. My school follows the IB curriculum, which places a strong emphasis on academics.
I have been skilled academically since primary school, with a particular talent and passion for mathematics. I take the most advanced mathematics class my school offers, Analysis and Approaches (Higher Level), and have participated in numerous maths competitions, achieving a high distinction in the AMC and distinction in the AIMO. Additionally, my overall grade in mathematics has been 7 (highest overall grade in the IB) for every term since term 1, year 7.
I believe my young age helps me relate to potential students, creating a positive environment for learning. I can understand the pressure and stress associated with trying to perform well in school, and give guidance on how I, personally, have dealt with these challenges.

To maximize effectiveness, I will tailor lessons to the content you are currently learning at school, focusing on areas you are not yet confident in.
Lessons will typically be 45 minutes to an hour, but I have flexibility around this.
As I am currently still in highschool, I do not have formal qualifications, but I have achieved awards in Australian mathematics competitions, most notably a distinction in the Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad (AIMO).
My lessons are for students in year 9 or below who are seeking help in mathematics.
