About Yamila
I am an experienced Spanish teacher at a successful Secondary school in London. I have been teaching Spanish to A-Level and GCSE for 5 years and during my degree, I taught Spanish as a second language to English students for 10 years. I completed my Degree in Translation studies and hold a Master's in Teaching Spanish as a Second language. I am very an enthusiastic and empathetic teacher and I love to use creative resources for my student's engagement as I believe it is very important to help students to connect with learning through their interests and help them improve in the language.
Patience and kindness are my strengths in teaching languages. To me, it is important to make my students feel supported and listened to help them achieve their goals.

I teach Spanish through creative and engaging resources. I love helping to improve oral and listening skills which tend to be students' biggest struggles when approaching a new language. I love adapting my lessons to my students´ interests and needs and have them into account when preparing sessions for them.
