About Louis
I’m a practicing Artist of 10 years and a trained/qualified secondary Art Teacher.
I gained my bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Painting in 2015 from the Dunedin school of Art and a few years later I received my certificate in secondary teaching where I went on to teach within the NCEA structure for 4 years.
I’m very passionate about my own person Art practise and dedicate a lot of time towards developing my own projects. Within this I find I am always learning new techniques and skills that I can pass on to my students.

As an experienced high school art teacher and private art tutor I’ve had 4+ years experience teaching a wide range of topics and skills. I’m very passionate about Art and teaching and would absolutely love to hear from you!
Lessons are typically 90 minutes including warm up and pack down, contents of each lesson will depend on each individuals artistic goals.
Lessons on anatomy, figure drawing, pencil and charcoal sketching, perspective, acrylic painting, water colour painting, oil painting, landscapes, surrealism, character design are all available and much more!
(All can be taught to NCEA L3 Excellence)
Lessons are for anyone aged 10 And over, any ability is very welcome :)
