Mainly I like to guide and help my students build their knowledge through their own personal effort and research, making them realising everything that is related to their subject and giving them all the necessary means to evolve on their own. Building strong foundation of knowledge so in the future everything will add up.
My classes are inspired by either a technique student wants to explore and learn or a specific artefact a client wants to make. In both cases we start from an idea, a goal, then develop it by making sketches, either on a paper or 3-dimensional, back-up the development with research on the topic and finally produce it in desirable material.
I am an experienced teacher and artist who enjoys working with any age group, in any desired medium. My approach to teaching is grounded in connection with my student/s - understanding their interests and needs.
My lessons are geared towards high school art students, university art students and hobbyists to expand their understanding and techniques of sculpture, analyse their works and develop the skills to create a well-polished portfolio.
my teaching methodology is use the tools, methods and techniques that can be used in making art works. I want to teach students that want to learn the basics of drawing, painting and printmaking. Usually, this means looking at using the various media and techniques to make individual artworks.
As a teacher of senior art for nearly 15 years I create programmes specifically designed for the students’ needs addressing both strengths and weaknesses. I teach and work from my private studio set in woodlands by the beach at Emu Park on Queensland’s tropical Capricorn Coast.
I believe drawing underpins all art disciplines. I believe everyone can learn to draw. I believe art can play a crucial role in well-being. My teaching method is inclusive of all age groups and all personalities with a focus in developing each students individual style. Perfect for high school students wanting to develop skills to support their HSC outcomes.
We'd explore and look at what you're passionate about ,hobbies, social issues or topics etc. that we'd address and incorporate into the design process.
My teaching/tutoring methodology. In general, is a teacher/tutor introduction for a short time frame and quick introductory demonstration.
My lesson structure would be strongly based around the student's artistic inclinations and interests, as well as experimenting with new techniques and materials in order to expand their confidence, resilience and artistic skill-set.
My teaching is catered to the needs of the student and can be hands on/technical or theory/discussion based, as required. I have taught for 15 years in places including Australia, Mexico, US, UK, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Canada, China, Bosnia and Portugal including community workshops, academic lecturing, advanced artistic workshops and everything inbetween.
My teaching method is to begin by going over the last lesson we had and then continuing to the next lesson. I believe that revision is very important in learning anything including art. I am always asking what the student would like to improve on or work on during the session, making it their decision and keeping them apart of the process.
Everybody is different. My way of training depends on what fits you best. I believe in an individual approach. We will have a short chat to understand your artistic background and strengths, get to know what subjects you want to create and I will adjust the lessons accordingly.
I like to infuse my practical knowledge of art practices with a mindful and organic teaching style. My intention is to encourage others to find their individual style and hopefully while learning art they also get to know themselves on a deeper level. Lets say the methods will be fun, light hearted and unorthodox.
I believe in a thoughtful and direct approach to teaching that suits the individual's needs. I am available during the evenings on most days of the week. I can teach all skill levels. I'm willing to also teach teenagers and young adults who genuinely want to improve their artistic knowledge to help reach their professional goals. Portfolio reviews can also be undertaken.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours & and a Diploma in Visual Arts Secondary Education. I have also exhibited my own artwork extensively throughout Australia. I believe Art is driven by both passion & a learned set of skills. I can assist with school curriculum based art practice as well as designing an individual art practice for adults and young avid learners.
Learning in visual arts is primarily focused around projects, demonstrations and discussions about projects, artworks, artists, art history, skills and techniques. My teaching involves the creation of innovative learning programs within the national and upper school curriculum frameworks.
I like to find out what the student wants to do and then base the lessons on that. I think people learn better if they are doing what they are interested in. I can make a lesson plan around almost any topic.
My art teaching practise is a foundation of the individual's ability to understand how to handle their chosen medium & to manipulate it with confidence.
My teaching method is hands-on. I like to give my students the opportunity to do things themselves whilst guiding them along the way and joining in, overall it's a lot of fun.
I combine physical skills based learning with a thorough contextualization of the student, in order to empower them to create art that relevant to them self and the broader community.
I am able to teach for individuals or a group in a Class environment or as a personal Tutor. I am also a good story teller. I am able to engage in Children to enhance their Creative Thinking and translate ideas into drawings.
My teaching method is based upon the students personality and lifestyle. I find when a student works within this perameter the student is able to be comfortable and therefore will focus more on the task at hand. This will create a open relationship so that the student feels free to learn.
I Am very sound on the belief .Every Artist is a Student forever.am always researching principles and techniques that might improve my work.I encourage my students to do the same.I try to help develop ways where each individual can earn from their work. The love of Horses have been a major support to my survival as an Artist.Over the years I have worked with Chalk.Water Color.
I love what I do and embrace my talent! It is an honour to be able to teach my hard work and alow others to enjoy the pleasure of their creativity but most of all do it in a simplified and efficient way rather then the long hard road I had to take! I really love teaching others!
The teaching comes from your interests and needs. Short tasks that reflect the required learning with opportunities for extension.
I have a unique way of teaching and many of my students comment on how theraputic they are as well as my encouragement and belief in the naive being the best art possible!
I adapt my teaching methodology for every levels, following your rythme at anytime.
I always try to personalize my classes according to the student needs and interests. I usually start the class by analyzing some artworks or artist related to the subjects. Then I encourage and guide the student to create its own art. Students can choose the art technique and art style they want to learn or practice.
I base my classes on trying out new, and different techniques, and ways of looking at art. Each class is centered around exploring new methods art making and of course, most importantly enjoying yourself and having fun.
