About Dora

I am a First-Class BA Architecture graduate with a strong academic and professional track record. Throughout university, I consistently achieved first-class marks for my design projects, and my final-year work received the RIBA Regional Award. Alongside my studies, I gained practical experience in four UK-based practices, ranging from small studios of 5 people to internationally renowned firms of over 2,500 employees, contributing to both local and international projects at different stages. After graduating, I received offers from multiple architecture practices and master’s programmes and I am passionate about supporting the next generation of students. Having experienced the challenges of applications, portfolio building, and university projects myself, I enjoy sharing my knowledge to help students.

About the lesson

I offer a wide range of tailored tutorials for architecture students and applicants. Each lesson is adapted to your needs—whether that’s building technical confidence, strengthening your portfolio, or refining your design narrative. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and always focused on helping you find your own voice. University Application Tutorials I can guide you through every step of the application process, including personal statements, interview preparation, portfolio curation, and practice tasks. Together, we’ll ensure your work demonstrates creativity, clarity, and ambition, giving you the best chance of success. University Design Project Support I can help you develop your design project from concept through to review. This includes strengthening your design ideas, refining narratives, and improving technical drawings. I’ll also guide you on presentation skills to ensure your design reviews are confident and well-structured. Representation Skills I can help in improving architectural sketching, hand-drawing, and model-making techniques, or we can focus on specific drawings and models to improve. I can also help you develop your representation skills in Photoshop and InDesign. Digital Modelling I can teach you Revit and Rhino from scratch or help you refine your skills if you already have some experience. From accurate digital modelling to effective workflow tips, I’ll ensure you gain confidence and efficiency in industry-standard software. Job Application Tutorials Whether you are preparing your first CV, cover letter, or portfolio for an internship or graduate role, I can help you structure and present your work professionally. We’ll also practise interview skills and discuss how to confidently communicate your strengths to employers.
