Following a Successful Career in the NHS I lectured at all levels and course types on every aspect of human communication - including specialism in multiple disabilities and sensory impairment, Autism and Dementia. Guest speaker at international conferences on Communication specifically Alternative and Augmentative communication. Course tutor at postgraduate level. Guest editor for the British Journal of Learning Disability. Seconded to MBA equivalent Leadership course at the Kings Fund and trained facilitator by the NHS Modernisation Agency. Details
After a couple of assessment sessions I can estimate how many hours of teaching will be required. Often input is best intensively at first then as students become more confident and skilled the frequency can be reduced - The more homework my students do the better the cost!!
