About Logan
I graduated in 2025 from the University of Prince Edward Island with a Bachelor of Science, major in computer science and will be an active supply teacher as of this fall. I have also applied for my Bachelor of Education for Secondary school in the spring. I'm extremely passionate about teaching and am looking forward to a career in education. I can teach all high school math (Trigonometry, Calculus, Data, Vectors, etc.) and physics. I can also teach all programming languages that are taught in high school and university. (Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C, C++, C# etc..) Some interesting things about me are; I played University Varsity Basketball for UPEI for most of my Computer Science Degree, I'm currently an avid golfer now as well. I work as a Bartender and Bouncer at night and have done for most of my university career, so if you ever need an interesting story to lighten the depressing mood that can be school, I'm your guy!

If you were to take a lesson from me, my first goal would be to break the ice, and casually get to know each other. This step may seem arbitrary to some but I believe it's the most important step in the learning process. It not only allows the student to get comfortable with me but it also allows them the opportunity to show and explain their current skill level so that I know what they need from me from an education standpoint. My second core teaching belief is that it is always better to do something than to be shown or told something. If a student is actively participating in the learning process it is more likely that the information will stick. Lastly if I feel like I am not the right fit for you, I will tell you. It benefits nobody for me to be attempting to teach you something I do not personally understand, or something that can be read from a Wikipedia article.
