About David
I hold a PhD in Applied Psychology (conferred 2019), extensive experience in tutoring and lecturing statistics, as well as an established publication record in gender and educational psychology. I also achieved a GPA of 6.5 and first class honours in my psychology undergraduate.
I truly *love* helping students, especially those who struggle with statistics and need extra support.
I have worked with students in first year to set them on a good path with their studies, as well as more advanced students completing their third year or honours level courses. I also assist postgraduate students and PhD students with data analysis and thesis editing.

I myself struggled with statistics when I first encountered it in first year psychology, so I genuinely *understand* what its like to have self-doubt, and to feel overwhelmed. I firmly believe though that there are no ‘stupid’ questions, and that if you don’t understand something its very likely many of your peers are struggling too. I can support students in preparing for exams, for smashing out lab reports, or higher-level support such as designing a research project/thesis, and data analysis.

For more advanced students who need statistical consulting, analysis of your data, or thesis editing higher rates generally apply and can be negotiated.
