About Kyler
With over 8 years of experience in vocal coaching, I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students, from young children just beginning their musical journey to adult learners pursuing professional aspirations. Throughout my career, I have worked with over 200 students, helping them develop their voices and reach their full potential. My teaching philosophy is centered on personalized instruction that combines technical skill-building with artistic expression. I believe that every student has a unique voice, and it is my goal to help them unlock their full vocal potential. In each lesson, I emphasize the importance of vocal health, breath control, and posture as the foundation for strong, sustainable singing. From there, I guide students through a variety of vocal techniques such as range extension, tone quality development, and resonance control, ensuring that they can sing with ease and flexibility across different musical styles. I focus on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voices and pushing their limits. In addition to technical training, I incorporate emotional expression into every lesson. Singing is not just about hitting the right notes—it is about conveying the emotions behind the music. I help students connect with the lyrics, telling a story with their voice while building confidence in their ability to communicate through song. I work across a wide range of genres, including pop, classical, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary music, ensuring that my students are exposed to diverse musical styles. For students preparing for auditions, performances, or competitions, I provide performance coaching that helps them hone their stage presence, manage performance anxiety, and deliver a memorable performance. I also incorporate ear training, music theory, and sight-reading to give students a well-rounded understanding of music. My students have gone on to perform in school musicals, compete in local competitions, and pursue professional music careers. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing my students grow in both their vocal abilities and their confidence as performers. Whether my students are singing for fun or pursuing music professionally, I am dedicated to helping them achieve their goals and enjoy the process of discovering their unique voice.

With over 8 years of experience in vocal instruction, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from a wide range of ages, musical backgrounds, and goals. I see the voice as both an instrument and an extension of the person behind it, which is why my teaching is centered around building trust, clarity, and confidence. Every student brings their own story, style, and set of challenges, and I tailor each lesson to match those individual needs.
We start with a careful assessment of vocal tendencies, focusing on breathing patterns, posture, alignment, and tone production. I place great emphasis on building sustainable habits that protect the voice and create a foundation for long-term growth. Through targeted exercises and practical application, students develop better pitch accuracy, vocal agility, and dynamic control. As the technical skills develop, I introduce musical interpretation, emotional communication, and expressive phrasing. Singing is not just about sounding good—it’s about making others feel something. I help students discover how to tap into their own experiences and use that emotion to shape their delivery. No matter the genre—be it classical, soul, musical theatre, indie, or pop—we work on conveying meaning and telling stories that resonate.
I also prepare students for the demands of performing, offering coaching on stage presence, body language, confidence building, and overcoming performance anxiety. Whether the goal is to sing professionally or purely for enjoyment, I provide structure, encouragement, and practical tools that support progress both inside and outside the lesson space. I believe every student has a unique voice worth hearing, and my mission is to help them discover, refine, and celebrate it.
