My lessons are aimed at school students whom are struggling with any aspect of music. Due to my comprehensive background, I am able to cater to any level and any area of music. I track lessons and progress using a file that both the student and I can access, and ensure we work together to modify my teaching plan to ensure the best results.
I'm also student who is major in vocal in music now. I'm looking for some students who don't have any knowledge of music, as well as who wants to improve their music more!! For the singing, I am going to focus on basic things like breathing and how your songs can sound better.
The types of methods that I use to teach my students are through the AMEB grading system and Suzuki methods, this may also include other teaching methods like solfege, forks song, and technical improvement exercises. I am a great teacher because I set my lessons up with progressive achievement each student can learn and develop.
Lessons are tailored to what my students are passionate about in music. We'll keep a lesson diary to check in with how you're improving and I will write exercises for you to practice in your own time outside of lessons.
It is my belief that in order for effective learning to take place, children must be under consistent conditions in which they feel safe, engaged, and feel free to extend and consolidate their learning (at home with their families/friends).
My teaching method is heavily based on getting students comfortable in their own voices and bodies before we make any goals! I truly believe confidence in yourself makes for a fantastic performance and can even help with social skills. I will be using vocal exercises to get students to familiarise themselves with their voices before we can work towards performances.
my personality is more of a kind, empathetic, loving and outgoing attitude towards children, patient and a very good listener.
I'm very easygoing, fun and passionate about music. I get along with everyone very easily. Learning with me will be like going on a carnival, full of fun and games. I'm very dedicated towards my students. I'll always be ready to help my students in any way.
My teaching methodology is based on the Orff principal of teaching through movement, play and improvisation. Teaching the foundations of theory through fun methods of playing music which then gives the child confidence in their ability to make and understand music theory when they are ready.
I try to ensure that my students are happy while learning. This makes the learning environment easier to be in and encourages learning outside of lessons. I believe it is vital that the student understands what they are learning in tutoring sessions and do not believe in doing their assignments for them.
* WE ALL SHARE A PASSION FOR MUSIC. * EVERY STUDENT IS DIFFERENT. * I LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR "GOAL OR TARGET" FOR SINGING/PERFORMING IS. * WE EXPLORE YOUR STYLE AND RANGE. * WE LEARN AND WE GROW THROUGH THEORY AND PRACTICE.
My teaching method is casual, informal and friendly. I have found in my experience that when it comes to out of school teaching environments, the less like "school" it is the better people of all ages respond. I like to work backwards from goals and formulate lesson plans based on what my students would like to achieve.
I tailor educational material based on the individual students' progress to encompass a variety of essential aspects of musical approach and practice. For many freelancers and newcomers it can be difficult to tap into the pragmatic facets of the art, this program is here to assist and fill in the blanks where ever they may be.
I am studying a certificate 3 in early childhood education and care through TAFE Brisbane. I want to help kids that were like myself who struggled through school due not getting proper help/education from teachers in a school setting.
*Note: I will be offering lessons at my own home in the near future. At the moment the house is being renovated so I am unable to do this. Once this is complete I will have a singing studio set up that is removed from the house that also has recording/performance equipment and a keyboard.
I believe that empathy is the key to a good learning enviroment, and being flexible towards the student's needs is what makes our time together an accomplishment. Body, mind, art, and emotions are all part of the music journey, and taking care of all these aspects is what will make you understand and go deep into music.
I plan my classes according to the specific needs and desires of the student. I like to establish a relaxed and welcoming environment where students are able to comfortably communicate and feel they are achieving something new each lesson. I have found it is effective to introduce music theory into lessons as soon as a basic understanding of the instrument has been achieved.
Methodology based off of the university standardized Studio Teachers Handbook. Basic / General Lesson structure: Warm-up / Review - Tuning, Instrument preparation, Reviewing previous accomplishment Skill Enhancement - Rudimental Music Foundation Performance Quality Control - Polishing your performance/Production Theory / Knowledge Base - Scoreing, Voice-Leading, Transposition, Sight-Reading.
My teaching method is simple, easy and fun! Students will have the opportunity to follow their dreams.
I base my classes on basics. Learning the basic notes, chords in a fun and memorable way with easy diagrams and hands on lessons. In writing, I begin with learning about chorus, verse and bridges, followed by word rhymes and subjects. In teaching music, I approach it in a similar way as teaching the alphabet, easy tricks to remember and using all senses. eg.
I approach music holistically, I like my students to understand sound, harmony, rhythm and musicology. The first lesson consists of opening up all panels of the piano and explaining the mechanics so student understand how the sound is produced. Technical curriculum to improve dexterity, such as "Hannon the Virtuoso Pianist" Exercises. John Thompson Early learning curriculum.
My teaching method is a mixture of introducing step by step techniques and exercises through creative music games, singing scales, piano knowledge, some music theory and learning to sing and perform beloved classics and optional songwriting coaching. The importance of vocal health and stamina of the voice is also an area I will cover in introductory classes.
I approach student individually. I firstly focus on the practical side so that they have the correct posture while playing. Then, I focus on sight-reading which is very important to become a succesful musician. I go with the Suzuki violin method.
My lessons would be geared towards younger students, but I am comfortable teaching people of all ages. Lessons would not only involve learning songs, but learning the techniques and ideas that make the songs, and how to use your voice safely.
Everyone can sing! Connect to your own natural voice and experience the joy of singing. I will introduce you to the basic concepts and principals behind singing in tune, singing with confidence and protecting your instrument.
Music is a concept that takes practice and repetition, and that is where I start. Whilst it might seem boring and useless at the start, it is the best way to learn. Will do theory work as well as that is the bases of all music.
I would describe my teaching method as a funny time to share with the music. I think that it is important to enjoy while we are learning music.
My teaching method is to get my students to understand the basic music theory needed eg. Treble cleft notes, bass cleft notes, note value, rest value, time signatures, scales, arpeggios, above the break/ high notes Clarinet) and technique etc..This will be done by playing quick and easy pieces, such as nursery and other songs.
Mainly it depends on what the student is interested in. Lessons will be playful and focused on expression and hearing development.
