About Kat
I am going for a Master in Material Science, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering and a Bachlors in Creative Writing at Carnegie Mellon University. I have been teaching science for 5 years and College Prep/English for 1 year. I achieved a 35 on my ACT and edited essay that got into Babson, Tulane, Tufts and Boston College. Over the summer I work as a middle school tutor and throughout the year I am a peer tutor.

At Carnegie Mellon, I have access to some of the best science resources in the country. Especially with challenging concepts, I will provide visual aids and interesting ways to remember information. In the sessions I will go over concepts and needed equations and explain the purpose of them using real life examples. My main goal is for students to be eager to learn more, and be proud of their work!
