About Arden
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, specializing in creating accessible and supportive learning environments. My journey has been deeply shaped by working with visually impaired and differently-abled students. Over the years, I have developed unique methods that make guitar playing both approachable and enjoyable for everyone. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on Guitar, which grounds my teaching in both theory and practice. Beyond academic training, my real strength lies in adapting lessons to meet individual needs. I use tactile notation systems to help learners physically connect with the instrument. Audio cue training is another core strategy I employ, guiding students to strengthen their listening skills and musical memory. Strong rhythmic development is a central theme in my lessons, ensuring that every student feels confident and grounded in their playing. I believe rhythm is the heartbeat of music, and it creates a sense of unity between player and sound. My classes combine patience, creativity, and flexibility to foster steady progress. I am passionate about making music education truly inclusive, removing barriers so that every student feels seen and supported.
