About Sap
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology, graduating with First Distinction honors. This academic background has given me a solid foundation in psychological theories, research methods, and practical applications. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Counselling at Monash University, which is helping me deepen my expertise and stay upto date with advancements in the field of psych. With experience in psychological research, I bring an evidence-based approach to tutoring. I’ve contributed to various research projects and am currently working on my own research. This allows me to provide students with up-to-date insights and connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications.
Teaching is something I’m incredibly passionate about. I have worked as a teaching assistant at a special needs school, where I developed a strong ability to adapt my teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students. It taught me how to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, which I apply to my tutoring sessions. My approach to tutoring is centered on making psychology engaging and accessible. I aim to ensure that students not only understand key concepts but also develop a genuine interest in the subject. Whether it's research methods, counselling theories, or applied psychology, I am committed to helping students succeed and gain a deeper understanding of the field.
