About Doug
I have experience teaching elementary and middle school classrooms at a history museum and providing individual childcare for students with special needs as well. Most of my experience is in various church contexts, where I worked with everyone from toddlers to high schoolers for the previous six years. I have a Masters degree from Princeton Seminary.

I love teaching, particularly history and the humanities, and love making the material come to life for students. I do my best to adapt the material to the particular student so that they can engage and interact with their learning process. Lastly, I think the best learning happens when students feel like they can be themselves, so my top priority as a teacher is to create an atmosphere of safety, acceptance, and fun. I am a passionate individual who would love to teach your child.
