I care deeply about the work that I do. I never want any person who interacts with me to feel they've gotten less than they deserve. I am confident that I am skilled enough in my command of the English language to know my strengths, but also to know my weaknesses. In knowing my weaknesses, I know that I would never take on a task I feel I can't do to the best of my ability.

If you're looking for a book nerd who is passionate about all things reading and writing, you're in the right place! If you're looking for a safe space to grow your reading and writing skills, while each of your attempts is met with enthusiasm and productive feedback, you are also in the right place! Finally, if you're looking for a graduate-level editor, proofreader, or resume coach, again, you're in the right place.
A typical lesson plan with me includes:
- You showing and telling me the areas you want to improve.
- Me creating a custom plan, meant for you, where you can learn and grow as a reader, writer, etc.
- Us working together to mold that plan to fit your specific learning needs.
That may seem vague, and that's because it is. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all plans. I believe that each one of my students is entitled to a conversation with me, that will then lead to a plan that we can build together. It's much easier to learn effectively when the tutoring is stylized to fit your needs.
My lessons are for everyone--high school students who want to excel in their English classes, colleges students who need a solid resume to reach the next level in their career, or graduate students who need to talk through their thesis. I am here to share my vast level of skills and interests with someone who wants to work with me.

My pricing is based on the fact that I want to provide high-quality work, which will take time outside of the lesson to prepare. I am baking in the hours spent outside of the lesson into the hourly price for the lesson.
