About Roann
I started working as a tutor in 2017. I never stopped tutoring. I did it all the way into college, where I also volunteered to schools in LA that needed more tutors. I taught at a public school for a few months before I realized I loved tutoring for a reason. Lesson plans weren’t made for the majority. Many kids needed more personalized help and assistance. That’s why I love tutoring. It is more personal and effective.

My lessons are at the child’s pace. They are interactive and highly effective. I take a lot of feedback from both the child and the parent to make sure each session is fruitful. I had a hard time learning math growing up, not because I didn’t understand how to do it. It was because I needed more support. I offer a lot of support to my students to feel more confident going into taking tests.
