About Liz
Hi, my name is Liz! I am an experienced tutor, Intelligence Analyst, and Behavioral Threat Assessment professional. I earned my MA in Forensic Psychology and my BS in Criminology, which is where I discovered that school can be a fun and amazing experience - with the right teachers.
I am a passionate teacher who loves sharing my enthusiasm for learning with others. I love to laugh and have fun with my students during our tutoring sessions, while helping them improve their academic skills and building confidence.
My educational and employment backgrounds provided me with extensive Criminology, Forensic Psychology, and Intelligence Analysis knowledge and experience. Additionally, I have four and a half years of research experience in the Criminology and Forensic Psychology fields.
In my spare time, I love reading, relaxing with my two black cats, drinking coffee, going to concerts, and doing crossword puzzles.

I am an experienced tutor and I am taking on new students again! I tutor in Criminology and Forensic Psychology, provide guidance for writing research papers (they can seem scary at first but I have some tips to help tackle them!), and I provide proofreading services. I have a focus on academic organization/stress management.
I work with students of all ages and have extensive experience with neurodiversity. I have a demonstrated track record of helping my students improve their academic skills while building confidence and having fun.
I use a strengths-based approach and help my students harness their skills to improve areas where they need help. Everyone learns differently so I take an individualized style when tutoring, working with each student in the way that best fits their needs.
