About Maxime
During my exchange year I helped beginners as well as people of my level prepare the JLPT. Following this, I have developed my experience furthermore during my internship at the university where I taught Japanese to bachelor students in the form of tutoring, which program has been validated by the head of the Japanese section.

Graduating from a Master 1 in Languages and International Trade (LACI) from the University of Orleans, specialized in English and Japanese, I currently teaches English and French at Kyoto, Japan. I have been living in Japan for almost 2 years now. I am holding JLPT N2 and will take the N1 exam. I offer courses that will suit a beginner to intermediate audience. The understanding of the Japanese language is linked to the understanding of Japanese culture, and as so my goal is to make the student progress while sharing my experience of Japan and of its customs through language. The course is structured around the JLPT to give the student a strong basis to progress towards a conversational / business level. Depending on the student level, I will nevertheless ask to show some autonomy in learning kanjis.
Depending on the level, the course will be organized more or less as follows:
- Revision of the previous lesson / Free Conversation (intermediate level)
- Fixed possible exercises
- Introduction of new lesson (grammar)
- Explanations and exercises
- Explanation of the exercises to do for the next class.
I provide exercises in advance to the student via email / dropbox / etc ... in Word format and request him to send me these exercises done before the start of the next class in order to make the correction at the latest during the course.
I can give the lesson via Skype, Google Hangout or even Facetime. Finally, for safety reasons (both for the student and for me) I use paypal as payment.
