About Sofia
The method of work is based on the realization of small projects that aim to develop gradually the knowledge of the techniques. The materials will be studied theoretically and experimentally. Texts and videos will be sent by email, as supplementary materials. The student will be responsible for acquiring their materials for the realization of the projects.

With a detailed focus on various techniques and materials. We will study ancient and contemporary painters, sculptors and illustrators. We will explore the materials they use and how they are transformed over time. The techniques of painting, sculpture will be taught rigorously but also with a certain lightness, in order to learn to deal with the great enemy - frustration. We will approach visual literacy and art history.
