About Eleanor

Hi! I’m Eleanor, I’ve lived in Japan for 18 years and am currently studying education and psychology in the U.K. I have been a professional language teacher for 3 years now, and before that I taught Japanese to my friends in the U.K.. Helping people become able to express themselves in a new language and become more excited about learning has always been a great joy for me - I’m looking forward to help you learn Japanese, and discover more about Japanese culture through our lessons!

About the lesson

Experience tutoring : A-level Japanese, IB Japanese, JLPT, conversational Japanese beginners and advanced! I’ve noticed through my experience of teaching language, that learners acquire language quicker through speaking. This is why in each of our 1on1 Japanese sessions, I make sure that time learning new knowledge : time using (e.g. New vocabulary in conversations) is 2:8! We will recap on what we did in past sessions, to help crystallise your knowledge but don’t worry! No homework or exams -no stress:)) No matter what level you’re at, what your goal is, or you just want to try something new, I’m here to design a lesson fit and enjoyable for you!
