About Sterling

Hello! I’m an enthusiastic violin tutor with 10 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have successfully guided 150-200 students on their musical journeys, helping them develop their skills and love for music.

My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive and inspiring environment. I believe every student has unique strengths and potential, and my goal is to help them discover and reach it. I tailor my lessons to meet each student’s individual needs, ensuring that they feel confident and motivated.

I incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including classical pieces, contemporary music, and improvisation, to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable. My students often share that they appreciate my patience and ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.

One of my notable achievements includes preparing students for successful performances in local music competitions and school concerts, where many have received awards for their hard work.
