About Blaire
Hi! I'm a violin tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Diploma in Classical Violin. While I’m deeply rooted in classical training, my true passion lies in exploring the violin across genres like Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. I love pushing boundaries and showing students how versatile the violin can be. In my lessons, we dive into improvisation, use looping pedals, and experiment with tone, rhythm, and texture. I guide students in writing their own solos and reimagining popular songs for violin. Creativity is at the heart of my teaching. Whether you’re jamming to a beat, layering loops, or crafting a new sound, I help you make the violin your own. I encourage curiosity and bold musical choices. My goal is to make each lesson inspiring, fun, and filled with fresh ideas. We’ll build technique and confidence while also learning how to express your unique musical voice.
