About Ivy

My teaching approach centers on creating a warm, supportive studio where self-belief and joy flourish. I believe every student thrives when celebrated for “small wins,” so I use fun practice games to build confidence step by step. About the lesson

I’m a violin tutor with over four years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Orchestral Studies, specializing in violin. My passion is helping adult beginners and returners rediscover the joy of music in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. I understand that picking up the violin as an adult can feel challenging, so I focus on making lessons enjoyable and stress-free.

My teaching style blends solid classical technique with folk tunes and simple pop arrangements. This mix keeps learning fresh and fun while building a strong musical foundation. I believe that music should be a source of happiness and personal expression, not just practice and perfection.
