About Charity
I am a mother of neurodivergent children that are on the spectrum, have ADHD, short-term memory processing disorder, and dyslexia. I have 20+ years experience with neurodivergent children as a preschool teacher, paraprofessional, music clubs, voice coach, ESL teacher, tutor, children's pastor, nanny, and babysitter. Also, I understand the beauty and struggles of having ADHD. I was undiagnosed my whole life. Two years ago (at 38), I finally got my answer. I attended Prague Music Conservatory under one of the most sought after vocal professors in Czechia, Lida Nopova. I also have received training in: -Trauma and triggers in the classroom - Helping neurodivergent children succeed in education -MANDT Certification -First Aid As well as working alongside with speech therapist, counselors, occupational therapists, and special needs teachers as training. I have German and Czech and American roots. I was raised in all three countries. My main language is English, followed by German and then Czech.

I absolutely love creating a space for kids to discover the joy of music. Music can be therapeutic, relaxing, and help healthy brain development. I specialize in teaching ages 2-10, however, I acknowledge that not all children are mentally and physically at the same developmental age. While using age-appropriate methods, we will use a mix of multisensory techniques to unlock the joy of music. -We will be clapping rhythms, stomping rhythms, using lots of visual aids, moving around the room to "dance" quarter, half and eighth note values. -I will introduce your child to various music genres and styles such as classical, jazz, reggae, opera, etc. while keeping it child appropriate. -We will create musical instruments out of empty containers and boxes, turn ourselves into music instruments and metronomes. -While learning and singing new songs, we will learn about vocal health, healthy habits, posture, and best breathing for singing. All lessons are adaptable to your child's interest, disability, or sensory needs.

I’ve known Charity & her family personally for 10+ years. She’s a gifted vocalist, teacher & leader as well as a loving wife & mother.
Having worked closely with her in children’s ministry, I can attest to her mature & ethical character.
Any parent or caregiver can have complete confidence in her to positively impact their children’s lives.Charity conducted several singing workshops for students 11-18 years at a residential Youth Conference in the UK. Her students learned to improve their breathing technique, their tone quality, their register and range. They worked on timing, improve pronunciation , practiced warming-up and coolingdown techniques, posture and hydrating in their voice. Our students were from various nationalities, and she related to each student as individuals. We appreciate Charity's patience and insight in assisting students in improve their singing voice and musical understanding.
I have known Charity for 3 years and have worked with her on many occasions at our church. She is experienced working with children, has training in music, is dependable and is a warm caring person.
Charity is a kind and generous person who puts her all into anything she strives to achieve.
As a former paraprofessional in our Special Education Behavior Program, Charity was always looking for ways to help the teachers, other paras and students. She is reliable, hardworking and resilient. Her creativity and organizational skills are exemplary, all she needs is a basic idea of what is expected and Charity will make it happen. She was by far one of the best paraprofessionals I have ever worked with and I was sad to see her leave when she moved out of state. Her passion for children and giving of herself to help others is admirable.
