Hello! I’m a passionate singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice Emphasis. I offer personalized singing lessons for students of all levels—whether you’re in school, college, or pursuing music as an adult or professional. My goal is to help you discover and strengthen your unique voice in a way that feels natural and exciting. I specialize in classical, pop, movie, and folk singing, tailoring each session to suit your musical taste and vocal needs. My lessons focus on ear training, harmony, and improvisation, which help build strong musical instincts. I also include music theory in simple, practical ways to support your vocal development. Confidence is key in singing. I use supportive methods and safe vocal techniques to help you sing freely and without strain. For learners with musical backgrounds like The Fiddler or The Music Major, I tailor techniques to match their strengths and goals. These students often benefit from a structured approach that blends creativity with discipline.
Breathing exercises are key to developing vocal control and endurance. I guide students through daily warm-ups and vocal health routines to keep their voice strong and flexible. We work on pitch through interval training, using ear training apps and singing exercises that sharpen listening and response.
Metronomes help us stay rhythmically grounded, especially when working on complex pieces or harmonies. I encourage students to use recording devices to monitor their progress and become more self-aware performers. Each session is focused, yet supportive, with clear goals and room for exploration.
