About Finn
Hi there! I’m a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a background in Contemporary Vocal Techniques. My passion is helping young children and early teens discover their voices. I teach in a playful, imaginative way using games, movement, and stories to explain musical concepts. We cover pitch, rhythm, breath control, and vocal basics with creativity and energy. I love seeing kids grow through singing—from shy whispers to bold performances. I often use folk songs, musicals, and Disney tunes to teach age-appropriate techniques. Stage presence is a big part of my sessions, especially for students preparing for school plays and talent shows. We practice movement, eye contact, and expressive storytelling through song. Confidence is key, and I work hard to help each child believe in themselves. Listening and teamwork are built into every activity. Music is a wonderful tool for connection, self-esteem, and fun. With the right mix of support and creativity, every young singer can feel safe and excited on stage.

In my lessons, singing is both a creative journey and a technical craft. I teach students to use their voice expressively while also learning studio fundamentals. We cover pitch, control, vocal health, and style early on. Then we move into studio work: how to use a microphone effectively and perform comfortably under recording conditions.
I show students how to prepare for a session, warm up with purpose, and stay relaxed in front of the mic. Vocal layering and harmony building are introduced gradually, using familiar melodies and original material. I help students listen critically and shape their sound using EQ, reverb, and delay. They learn how to work with effects, not hide behind them.
This method works especially well for academically trained vocalists who want to sound more natural and confident in modern settings. I’m here to bridge the gap between training and expression. Every voice has a story to tell—and we make sure it’s told beautifully.
