About Jayne

For over 5 years, I’ve been teaching guitar to students from school level to college, and I’ve come to see how powerful music can be in shaping a person’s confidence and creativity. My approach to teaching is all about building trust, breaking lessons into simple steps, and helping each student discover what makes their musical voice unique. I focus on both the technical and emotional sides of learning—whether it’s teaching chords, rhythm, or encouraging students to express their feelings through music. One of the most rewarding moments in my journey was seeing a student, who once doubted himself, perform confidently in front of his school assembly. It reminded me that teaching is not just about skills—it’s about helping people grow. I want my students to walk away from each lesson feeling inspired, confident, and excited to keep learning.

Creativity brings lessons to life. We explore different genres, experiment with songwriting, and practice improvisation to foster a deeper connection with music. Integrity means being honest and respectful, providing constructive feedback that helps students improve.

I also include lessons on related music topics like rhythm, theory, and ear training, helping students become confident and well-rounded musicians."
