About Karl
Karl has been teaching music for over 20 years, with lessons that keep students motivated, while building a solid foundation of skills. Beginner students are offered fun exercises, along with a natural progression of pieces that demonstrate musical form, theory, and technique. Students may also select their favorite songs, or sing along with pieces from Musical theater, or explore their first Jazz or blues piece, improvisation or composition.

Our piano lessons are fun and effective, catered to your style and interest.
My students range from 7 year old beginners, to entertainment industry professionals. My adult clients who study with me have written Broadway Musicals, appeared on late night TV and produced albums of famous artists. My experiences as a Live Pop performer and recording artist, composer and performer of Jazz Music, and touring Equity musical theater actor help me to bring real world experinece to our lesson.
