About Elias
Simply put, Im a pretty dedicated and an excellent mathematics student. Throughout high school and up until Uni. In High school I was tutoring elementary students as well as tutoring my 10 year old brother in GCSE Maths. Since starting Uni I have had tutor 2 girls who are in their final year of A-Level for their upcoming final exams. I like helping others and teaching is my way of being able to influence someone to do better. I was a mediocre student who was told that my goal of getting an A* was unrealistic and that "you should be happy with a B." I aced my exams and was the top scorer in my High School. Unlike many other subjects, maths is about a way of thinking and intuition. I always imagined it like a flowing river. You don't have to remember a list of informations that has nothing to do with each other. It's a flow of ideas that bring forth to the next.

I am good at maths and an even better teacher. I dedicate my time to my student to do well. No goal is unrealistic. Mathematics is about an expression of the mind, it's not limited by the ability to remember but more about the way we see things. I take the result of the people I help personally and when I do something, I do it right.
Usually I ask student to do a past paper and go through the syllabus with them to find topics they are uncertain about. Like when julius caesar army was completely surrounded, he attacked each weak point one by one until his victory. Tutoring require a lot of attention and planning, not many can do it correctly and often times not many "student" tutor are qualified. I am confident in my ability to connect with students and helping them.
