About Jack

With a BFA in Vocal Arts and Opera and over 5 years of coaching experience, I help singers prepare for both live performance and studio recording. My foundation is classical, but my heart lies in worship, gospel, and contemporary music. Many of my students aspire to record or perform professionally, and I love equipping them with the skills to do so. Lessons are designed to build strong technique, focusing on breath support, expressive phrasing, and vocal health. I also train students in stage presence and live performance for congregational worship. My teaching covers genres including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship. Students learn not only how to sing but how to interpret and connect emotionally with songs. I’ve worked with beginners, worship leaders, and emerging artists preparing for the studio. My approach balances discipline with artistry, ensuring growth feels both structured and inspiring. We work on overcoming nerves so performances feel natural and impactful. Singing is more than just hitting notes—it’s about telling a story. I aim to help students communicate faith and emotion through every performance. Together, we’ll develop the confidence and artistry needed to move audiences both in church and beyond.

About the lesson

My teaching method combines practical singing tools with protective vocal care. Every lesson builds from breath control, tone production, and phrasing. Beyond that, I train singers in stamina for rehearsals, touring, and live worship sets. I emphasize managing vocal fatigue and recognizing early warning signs of strain. Students learn how to care for their voices before and after performances. My lessons also include strategies for hydration, rest, and recovery. Soloists in training benefit from focused endurance coaching. Ensemble players gain tools to sing with balance while avoiding overuse. I encourage students to think of their voice as a lifelong instrument. Healthy singing habits ensure that artistry can grow without limits.
