About Lindsey
I have 5 years of experience in tutoring students for language. I am currently majoring in Romance Languages and minoring in TESOL with an intended continuation into Immigration Law. I have tutored graduate level students from all over the world looking to perfect their English-speaking abilities as well as tutored native English speakers looking to learn the Spanish language.

My teaching method is based on getting a really good feel as to where my student is at in terms of his/her/their language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). Before diving into this period of evaluation through exercises and activities, I like to open up the conversation for the student to give me his/her/their insight and goals. This first part of my instruction is centered around evaluating the student’s strengths and areas in need of improvement and it is essential. It is important for me not only to map out a specific learning plan that is individual to each student to meet his/her/their specific needs, but also to optimize our time together and get the most out of every session. I try my very best to always foster a learning environment that serves as a safe space for each student to make mistakes and work through them.
