About Zoe
As an upcoming college graduate, my education has been made up of Political Science and Sociology degrees, minors in Journalism and Constitutional Democracy, and certificates in Honors, Writing Intensive and Multicultural Studies. While I have taken more classes than I can count, writing has always been one of the most central themes in each one; and it is because of this that I decided to truly figure out my writing style, as well as to become a campus Writing Tutor. This is something I also want to largely incorporate in my future career, where I plan to pursue Policy Research and Analysis. Writing, to me, is a skill that is invaluable and lasts forever, no matter the college major or career type one chooses. That being said, I approach every student with kindness, optimism, and a flexible perspective! Everyone writes differently, and it is an honor to get to help others and encourage them throughout their writing process.

As a campus Writing Tutor, I have had ample experience in tutoring not only a wide variety of essay types, but also a wide variety of students and learning styles! Alongside my rich knowledge of grammar, essay styles, and how to craft a cohesive idea, I also strive to make the writing process digestible for everyone. While it is difficult to be vulnerable with your writing, I always ensure to meet students where they are and boost their confidence in their abilities! My lessons are centered around the student’s concerns and questions, and I always ensure that the student never loses their creative freedom. Alongside writing tutoring, I am also apt in the concepts taught in AP Language and Composition!
