About Ivy

I am a passionate violinist with a master’s degree and 6 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students develop technical mastery and expressive artistry. My teaching combines precision, creativity, and interactive instruction, making lessons engaging, effective, and enjoyable. With experience teaching learners of all levels, I focus on bowing, fingering, sight-reading, and musical interpretation. I provide personalized instruction, structured exercises, and performance guidance, helping students gain confidence, versatility, and expressive skill in both solo and ensemble settings. Teaching is both mentorship and inspiration. I strive to create a motivating, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to practice, explore, and perform. Witnessing learners grow in skill, confidence, and musical expression is the most rewarding part of my career as a violin tutor.

About the lesson
