About Tara
I’m a violin tutor with over four years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Violin. My teaching goes beyond technique—I take a holistic and therapeutic approach to help students find their own voice through music. For me, the violin is not just an instrument; it’s a way to express emotions, tell stories, and heal. I incorporate improvisation, journaling, and soundscape creation to encourage personal growth and emotional release. These tools help students connect deeply with their music and themselves. I have had the privilege of working with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adults seeking healing and self-discovery through their playing. Each lesson is tailored to nurture not only musical skills but also emotional well-being. I focus on creating a safe space where students feel free to explore and express. The violin becomes a trusted companion on their journey towards inner peace and creative freedom.
