About Leo
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music and have been teaching voice professionally for over 7 years. My journey began as a student of classical voice, but over time I trained in contemporary styles as well, performing both on stage and in studio environments. This diverse experience shapes the inclusive way I teach today. Beyond teaching, I’ve worked with choirs, small ensembles, and solo performers, helping them develop stage presence and vocal endurance. I’ve prepared students for recitals, competitions, and auditions, always emphasising healthy technique and emotional connection to the music. My students range from complete beginners to experienced vocalists seeking refinement. I believe every voice is unique and deserves guidance that fits its character. I bring patience, energy, and genuine care to each session, creating a safe and encouraging space to explore your sound. Whether you’re singing for joy, school, or the stage, I’m here to support and inspire your growth.

My lessons begin by identifying your natural vocal range, tone, and confidence level. For beginners, I introduce essential concepts like breath support, pitch accuracy, and vocal warm-ups. We explore scales, simple songs, and body awareness, laying a strong foundation for healthy singing habits that prevent strain and promote consistent vocal quality. As students grow, the lessons shift towards refining tone, developing control over dynamics, and exploring emotional expression in different musical styles. Whether it's pop, classical, or musical theatre, I customise each session to the student’s interests while incorporating technical elements like diction, vibrato, and phrasing. For advanced learners or aspiring performers, we focus on interpreting songs with depth, building stage presence, and polishing performance-ready repertoire. Sessions often include microphone technique, storytelling through music, and audition preparation. Every lesson is structured to support your artistic goals, while ensuring continued vocal health and expressive confidence.
