About Stella
I hold a Master’s degree in French Studies and have spent over 8 years teaching students of all ages and goals—whether preparing for exams, relocating abroad, or simply learning for the love of the language. I’ve also lived in France, which helps me offer authentic context beyond the textbook. My teaching is centered on connection: connecting vocabulary with meaning, grammar with clarity, and students with confidence. Each French lesson is designed with clarity, immersion, and consistency in mind. Whether you’re starting from scratch or revisiting the language after years, I begin with building your comfort in pronunciation and sentence structure. Through targeted practice in greetings, questions, and real-life dialogues, you’ll quickly develop useful vocabulary and functional fluency.
As we progress, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of grammar and sentence flow. From verb conjugations and articles to tenses and agreement rules, we’ll break down complex structures in a clear, manageable way. Lessons combine reading, writing, and speaking so that your language skills grow in balance, not isolation.
Cultural learning is also embedded in our sessions. We’ll explore common idioms, regional accents, and traditions that make French more than just a subject.
