About Tessa

For over 7 years, I’ve guided violinists to grow both technically and creatively. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies and served as Violin Section Leader, an experience that gave me leadership and performance expertise. My teaching approach integrates modern tools to make progress clear and exciting. I use slow-down apps, DAWs, MIDI notation, and video feedback to help students refine every detail. Many lessons involve recording violin parts for original songs or favorite covers. I’m passionate about bringing the violin into genres like Jazz, Rock, and Indie Folk. Improvisation is always encouraged, and I help students use it to expand their voice. To make learning more immersive, I design custom backing tracks for practice. My lessons adapt to both traditional learners and creative explorers. I believe every student deserves a balance of solid technique and expressive freedom. Together, we create an environment where growth feels inspiring and fun. The violin can be a tool for innovation as much as tradition.
