About Frances
I have over 30 years of experience writing - books, articles and poetry - in English. I have prepared and publicly presented my own presentations in English, and I have prepared presentations for, as well as corrected, coached and taught others the use of English in their personal and professional lives. I understand the challenge of speaking English as a second language so that I can work with almost anyone from beginners to executives in business and industry.

To help students, I use a variety of approaches designed to appeal to their five senses as much as possible. - 25% of the time is spent on the basics - vocabulary, grammar and structure - using textbooks, exercises and everyday objects like publications, books and household items to reinforce understanding. - 50% of the time devoted to oral expression and interaction to build confidence - 25% of the time to work on the targeted needs of the student - Students are given the subject, resources and vocabulary to be covered in the next class for study and preparation - At the start the student and I agree on what the student wants to achieve. This allows me to customize my approach to get the best results - 90% of the exchange will be in English
